She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dean, at home; their four children: Michael Dean Whittier, Patricia Ann Whittier, Timothy Lee Whittier, all of Spokane, Sharon Kay Hoeper and son-in-law, James Hoeper of Bothel WA; three grandchildren: Ryan Michael Whittier, Marissa Marie Whittier and Alexa Kay Hoeper; one great-granddaughter, Kelli Marie Whittier; her sister, Idabell Reffel of Denver, CO; brother, Charles Ray Hoffman of Fort Collins, CO; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. No service at the request and final wishes of Vivian. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, March of Dimes, Heart Association, or to a no kill animal shelter of your choice.
