Mrs. Emily Emlay, 73, died here this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Albert W. Gunn of 127 San Mateo drive. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Emlay was a native of Michigan and had resided here for the past four years. She is also survived by two other sisters, Mrs. Sumner Earl of San Mateo and Sister Stanislaus of Notre Dame, Belmont. She leaves a son, Frank H. Sullivan of Porterville, Calif. Funeral services will be announced later by the Crosby-N, Gray company." END

Funeral will be held Saturday, May 12, 1945, at 9:45 a.m. at the chapel of Crosby-N, Gray & Co., 23 California drive, Burlingame, thence to St. Matthew's Catholic church, San Mateo, where a requiem mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul commencing at 10 a.m. Interment, St. John's cemetery [in San Mateo].

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., Friday, May 11, 1945, at the chapel of Crosby-N, Gray & Co., 23 California drive, Burlingame." END
