He was of Methodist faith and was a member of the Hookies Fire Company. He retired in 1972 as a butcher from the Juniata Packing Co., Tyrone after 18 years of service and previously employed for three years at the Chicago Rivet and Machine Company and the former Shaffer Meat Plant in Tyrone.
Funeral service will be held Monday, July 14, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Tyrone with Pastor Steven E. Burns officiating. Friends will be received at the home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m.
