Clarence B. Krueger, 52, a resident of Phillips county for almost 47 years, passed away at about 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the East Phillips County hospital here. He Had been in failing health for the past 18 months.

Funeral services were set at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Zion Lutheran church in Holyoke, with interment at Holyoke Memorial Park. Rev. James Pomeroy was the officiating minister. Arrangements were in charge of the Lewis Funeral home.

A son of Charles F. and Hattie Post Krueger, was born June 21, 1912, at Ayr, Nebr. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith on July 28, 1912, at Blue Hill, Nebr., and was confirmed on April 10, 1927, at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Amherst, Colo.

In 1917, Mr. Krueger moved with his parents to Amherst where he received his education and grew to manhood. On October 31, 1936, he was united in marriage to Wilma Louise Busch at Fort Morgan. To this union four children were born, two of whom survive.

A few years after marriage, Mr. Krueger became engaged in farming in the Holyoke and Paoli communities, continuing in this vocation the rest of his life.

Mr. Krueger was preceded in death by two infant sons, in 1944 and 1948, and his father, Charles F. Krueger, November 14, 1955.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma; two daughters, Ardell (Mrs. Leland) Lakey, Farmington, N.M., and Irene (Mrs. Carroll) Bussell, Holyoke; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Krueger, Holyoke; three brothers, Carl and Edward Krueger, Holyoke, and Ben Krueger, Ogallala, Nebr.; three sisters, Augusta (Mrs. Otto) Krueger, Margaret (Mrs. George) Brinkema, and Evelyn (Mrs. Raymond) Folker, all of Holyoke; five grandchildren, Cynthia, Denise and Linda Kay Lakey and Deanne and Bradley Bussell; and many other relatives and friends.
