CHARLES KRUEGER FUNERAL FRIDAY
Funeral services for Charles F. Krueger, 82 of Holyoke, were held Friday afternoon at the Holyoke Lutheran Church, with Rev. R. Einspahr officiating. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park. Lewis Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Krueger, a resident of Phillips County for 38 years, passed away Monday, November 14, at his home in Holyoke. He had been in failing health for several years.

A son of Carl and Sophia Krueger, Charles Friedrich Krueger was born October 21, 1873, in Osage County, Missouri. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith on January 18, 1874, and confirmed on April 14, 1889.

In 1892, Mr. Krueger moved with his parents to Blue Hill, Nebraska. On February 28, 1900, he was united in marriage with Hattie M. Post, who lived at Pauline, Nebraska. To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive.

The family settled in the Amherst community in 1917 and Mr. and Mrs. Krueger lived there most of the time until 1942, when they established their home in Holyoke.

Surviving Mr. Krueger are his wife; four sons, Ben and Edward Krueger, Ogallala, Nebraska, and Carl and Clarence Krueger, Holyoke; three daughters, Augusta, Mrs Otto Krueger, and Margaret, Mrs. George Brinkema, both of Amherst, and Evelyn, Mrs. Raymond Folker, Vernon Colorado; one brother, Louis Krueger, Holyoke; two sisters, Mrs James Ellery, Denver, and Mrs. Emma Blum, Blue Hill, Nebraska; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
