Thelma ECCLES, 98, of Linton and formerly of Howesville, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2000, in Glenburn Nursing Home. She was born May 11, 1902, in Worthington to Daniel V. DRAKE and Rhoda Ann BENDER DRAKE. Her husband, Robert ECCLES, died Nov. 20, 1971. Survivors include two sons, Dan ECCLES and Robert E. ECCLES 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one niece. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City. Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until services Tuesday.
