Jean F. (MacDonald) Gilman Of Wakefield, September 16, 2010. Jean was born in Melrose on October 8, 1921, one of two children of the late Norman D. MacDonald and Gertrude F. (Cotton) MacDonald. Jean was raised and educated in Melrose. She graduated from Perry Normal School and worked for Guillow's Co., MACOM Co. and for Dunkin Donuts at the Wakefield Junction. Mrs. Gilman loved travelling. Her favorite trips were to Greece, Rome, the Grand Canyon, and various cruises she took in the Caribbean. She enjoyed gardening and most of all loved spending time with her friends and family at her cottage "Glenmar" at Wells Beach, Maine. Former wife of the late George L. Gilman. Sister of the late Roger MacDonald.
