Mrs. Lurana Woodriff, 73, a former resident of Sciotoville, died Tuesday at 6:15 a.m. at her home in Vinton, Ohio, after an illness of two years.
Mrs. Woodriff, widow of Eliot Woodriff, was born Sept. 18, 1883, in Gallia County, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Ellen DuPre.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, R.D. DuPre of Ironton and M.C. DuPre of Ashland.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Max Barnes of Vinton; two sons, Charles of Corning, Ohio and Willard at home; a sister, Miss Lucretia DuPre of Sciotoville; and a brother, William E. DuPre, 2211 Gallia St.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Vinton Methodist Church. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
