Mrs. Verna Cooley, 57, of West Washington, Newton, passed away at 12:20 a.m. today at the St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham. The deceased was born November 12, 1912, daughter of Harry and Clara Allison, in Newton.
She was married to Dwight Cooley, who survives, in addition to a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Mulvey, and her mother, Mrs. Clara Allison, both of Newton.
