Harry Allison, 70, of Newton passed away at the family home at 8:30 last Sunday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Newton Baptist Church at 2 p.m. today, with burial in the Newton Riverside Cemetery. Rev. L. L. Martz will officiate at the services with the Reese Funeral establishment in charge.

The deceased is survived by his widow and three sons, Paul of Newton, Leo of Evanston and Quincy of Tuscola. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Vera) Cooley of Newton, and three sisters: Mrs. Guy (Rose) Higgins of Charleston, Mrs. Clara Clark of Casey, and Mrs. Orval (Pearl) Farley of Yale. Surviving brothers are Elza and William of Casey, and Rol of Atlanta, Ga.
