Resident of this County for Many Years Dies at Home of Son West of City Friday
Mrs Nancy Tate, who had just passed the four score milepost, died at the home of a son, T R Tate, eight miles west of Duncan, Friday morning. She was a pioneer resident of this county, moving here from Georgia, where her husband died 37 years ago.
The aged woman is survived by two sons and three daughters. The sons are T R and Robert Tate of Duncan, and the daughers are Mrs Ella Green and Mrs Alzira Trout, both of Comanche, and Matilda Robertson of Kingsville, Texas.
Funeral srvices, conducted by Rev J J Ward, assisted by the Rev T P Haskins, were held at Little Beaver Baptist church Friday afternoon, with interment in the cemetery at Oak Grove. Arrangements were in charge of the Rangley Goodman Funeral Home.

Nancy Anderson married Lewis Thaddieus Tate born Dec 14, 1846 in Towns Co., Ga - he died Jan 3, 1893 in Towns Co, Ga. Buried Towns Co., Ga. He was a blacksmith and a farmer.
Nancy was the mother of 9 children. On Jan 3, 1893 her husband Lewis Thaddieus Tate died. That same year a son, she named Tommy, was born and died. Her thirteen year old daughter, Janie died. Her daughter Mary died Oct 6, 1887.
