Funeral services for Lula Mae McVoy, 97, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in First Christian Church with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Rev. Charles Cox of First Christian Church will officiate. Mrs. McVoy died Wednesday morning, Dec. 1, at her Rockdale home. She had been a Rockdale resident for 35 years. She was born Nov. 24, 1896, in Cuero. Survivors include a son, Adolph McVoy of Rockdale; a daughter, Winnie McVoy of Rockdale; four grandchildren, three great grandsons and two great granddaughters.
