Prayer service for Wilbur (Bud) Dreger, 41, 1191 North Jefferson street, who died April 2 at Ionia County Memorial hospital was held at 1:30 pm. Monday at Myers funeral home followed by funeral service at St. John Lutheran church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Theodore Tinrler officiated with the assistance of Pastor Eric Cash of Chester, Ill. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines.
Mrs. William Rafel, Mrs. Donald Leddick and Mrs. August Odinga were in charge of the flowers. Honorary bearers were Earl Nobis, L. D. Warner, Kenneth Ransom, DeForest Piper, Jack Hopkins, Harold and Louis Ruehs, Joseph Waidelich, Gerald Skelding and Robert Carpenter. Pallbearers were August Odinga, William Tafel, Edward Ruehs, Theodore Succop, Edward Nobis, Ralph Coe, Edward Ingvartsen and Eugene VanVleck.
Thos attending from out of town were Pastor and Mrs. Eric Cash of Chester, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. James Stephenson and Mrs. James Satcher of Paris, Texas, Mrs. Harold Stephenson of Irving, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Browning Jr., and Patty of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Vern Slowinski of Lansing, Mrs. And Mrs. William Dreger and Carla of Otsego, Mrs. Ralph Printz and Debbie, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bigsby and Mrs. Josie Klump of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. William Gerke of Greenville, Mrs. Alma Mahan of Saginaw and Mrs. Emil Hacker of South Haven.
