Barbara Elizabeth Cieslak, 79, of Bethel, died Sept. 12 at home.
Mrs. Cieslak was born in Chester to the late John and Jennie Bugara.
She was a Chester High School graduate and worked as a beautician for many years at Murray's Beauty Salon in Swarthmore.
Mrs. Cieslak was devoted to her family and husband. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing and traveling.
Survivors: Husband of 59 years, Edward Cieslak of Bethel Township; sons, Edward J. Cieslak of Middletown, Del., Edwin J. Cieslak of Bethel, John M. Cieslak of Aston; daughters, Elizabeth A. Sliter of Boothwyn, Genevieve Lanning of Linwood, Lower Chichester; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Service: Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, Saint Hedwig Church, Fourth and Hayes streets, Chester. Visitation: After 7 tonight and after 8 a.m. Friday, Kaniefski-Kendus-D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 3900 W. Ninth St., Trainer.
Burial: Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood, Upper Chichester.
