Cornelia Ruth Lanham was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife to Frank Ewing Lanham. She was mother to 8 wonderful children and was devoted to all of them. Cornelia was able to be at her grandson's wedding (Gary L. Handy) on February 15, 1969 in Inglewood, CA. She did not want to miss it. She passed away 3 months later on May 18, 1969. She is survived by her daughter Helen J. Handy of Inglewood,CA; Her husband Cecil Handy. Daughter Ruth Campbell, Rena Clark- (Cree), and Galda Hellois Grimm. She is also survived by her son Donald Lanham. She was preceded in death by her parents John C. Munday and mother Mary E. Munday. Her husband Frank E. Lanham and two sons; Byron Lanham of Arizona, and her younger son Raymond, who died when he was taken by a illness when he was in his teens. She is also survived by her grandson Gary L. Handy and his wife Marcia A. Handy. Also Grandson; Craig A. Handy and his wife Karen S. Handy; and great granddaughter Shannon Handy. Cornelia was a very loving, and nourishing mother you would want in your own family. We will always remember her.
