The Informer, January 3, 1964
Hugh Everett Munday, aged 78, a retired farmer and carpenter of Route 1, Everton and a resident of Newton County for 10 years, died Sunday at Harrison. He was a prior resident of Searcy County. He was born September 7, 1886, at Climax, Kansas, a son of John and Mary Richardson Munday.
Survivors include his wife Opal; two sons, Everett Munday of Western Grove and Thomas Munday of St. Francis, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Tena Orr of Topeka, Kansas,; six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Western Grove Christian Church by Lee Blair. Burial made in the Western Grove Cemetery.
