Son of Samuel Franklin and Martha Survina (Roberts) Weller. Married Laura Ettie DeLong on December 23, 1894 in Perry County, OH. Father of Lita Aurelia b. 22 Mar 1896, Martha Catherine b. 12 Jan 1898, Philip Beverly b. 18 Dec 1899, Harry DeLong b. 3 Mar 1902 and Mary Ettie b. 29 Jan 1905.

O. A. WELLER, 78, DIES SUDDENLY
Othello A. Weller, 78, of 229 Jackson street, New Lexington, died at 7 o'clock Monday night at his home from a heart attack. Death came suddenly.
The son of Samuel and Martha Roberts Weller, he was born in Muskingum county and had been a rural mail carrier out of New Lexington for 30 years until his retirement 13 years ago.
For 30 years he had been a resident of New Lexington. Weller was a member of the Methodist church at New Lexington and also was a member of the State Letter Carriers Association.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etta DeLong Weller of the home; one son, Philip B. Weller of Nelsonville; three daughters, Mrs. Lita A. Bumgarner of Deland, Fla.; Mrs. Catherine Vickers of Athens and Mrs. Mary E. Stewart of Toronto, O.; five brothers, Wilbur Weller of Pottsville, Pa.; Archer, George and Seward R. Weller all of New Lexington and Franklin L.Weller of New Brownsfield, Tex.; and eight grandchildren. One son, Harry Weller, preceded him in death.
The body has been removed to the Hearing-Bryan-DeLong funeral home pending arrangements.

WELLER SERVICES
Funeral services for Othello A. Weller, 78, of 229 Jackson street, New Lexington, will be held at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the residence with Rev. Edmond Rodeheffer of the New Lexington Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.
The body was removed to the residence last night from the Hearing-Bryan-DeLong funeral home.
