She was the daughter of the late Carswell H. and Mamie Proctor Moody of Waynesville.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey.
Interment was held Monday, May 8, 2006 in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Miss.
A sister, Naomi Lipthratt, survives her locally.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to American Diabetes Association.
