Mrs. Henrietta Flug, aged 75, passed away at her home, 115 North Culver St., at 3:15 o'clock this morning, after an illness of several weeks of influenza, terminating in an acute attack Friday, which with the infirmities common to age, hastened her death. Mrs. Flug was born in Germany and had been a resident of the United States for fifty years, spending most of the time in Chippewa county. Up to four years ago she made her home on a farm in Eagle Point, and on the death of her husband, Leonard Flug at this time, took up her residence in Chippewa Falls. She was a woman of good Christian character, universally esteemed by all friends and neighbors, and an active worker in the Ladies' Aid and other organizations of the Zion Lutheran church, of which she was a lifelong member. She is survived by three sons, Henry Flug, Chippewa Falls; and Leo and Julius Flug, residing on the old homestead in Eagle Point; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Brist of the city, and Mrs. Henry Hilp of Lafayette and twelve grandchildren. A son, Paul Flug, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Brunner, preceded their mother in death a few years, ago. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home, 115 North Culver St, and at the Zion Lutheran church at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. B. H. Schrein officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill cemetery. The body now lies in state at the Bennett-La Frania Funeral Home, where it will remain until one o'clock tomorrow afternoon when it will be taken to the late residence.
