Leonard Flug, aged 74, died at his home, 115 North Culver street, at 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon after a brief illness. He was confined to his bed two days from pleurisy of the heart and severe cold. Mr. Flug was born in Germany in 1853 and came to Chippewa Falls with his wife and one child in 1882. For several years he was an employee of the C. L. & B. Co., and about 25 years ago moved to a farm in Eagle Point where he resided until a year ago when he again located in the city. He was an industrious citizen and held in high respect by neighbors in Eagle Point and this city. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons as follows: Mrs. Ben Brunner, Mrs. Emma Brist of this city, Mrs. Minnie Hilp, Lafayette; Henry of this city, and Leo and Julius, who reside on the parental farm in Eagle Point. Three brothers, Fred, Gustav and August Flug, and one sister, Mrs. Herman Boettcher, of Bloomer, also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence and at 2:30 at Zion Lutheran church, East Grand avenue, Rev. B. H. Schrein officiating. The place of interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
