Death of Benjamin Booher
Benjamin Franklin Booher of Lakeville died at his home there Monday evening, aged 78. Born in Geneseo, Mr. Booher had always lived in or around Lakeville.
Besides his wife, Ida Allen, he leaves three sons, Leonard, Lester and Walter.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the home in Lakeville, the Rev. F. L. Cook officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
[NOTATION: Benjamin was NOT born in Geneseo. He was born in Groveland and was a young boy when his father moved to Geneseo, after marring his second wife, Mrs. Ruth Prior.]

AVON, Aug. 25 — Lester F. Booher of Avon died yesterday (Aug. 24, 1955).
He leaves his wife, Helen Beverly Booher; a son, Fay of Avon; five daughters, Mrs. John Driscoll and Miss Laura Booher, both of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Richard Murtaugh of Rochester, Miss Jeanette Booher and Mrs. Leo Watkins, both of Avon; a brother, Walter of Lakeville; and several grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, 80 Lacy St., Avon, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in East Avon Cemetery.
