In Hopkinton, R. I., Feb. 21, 1894, of typhoid pneumonia, after a brief sickness, Mrs. Clarissa Burdick, daughter of William Crandall, deceased, of Westerly, and the wife of the late Clarke Burdick, of Hopkinton, aged 65 years.

She was the mother of eighteen children, and all but one survive her. She leaves also a large number of grandchildren. Precious will be her memory to those she leaves behind.
