Marcelline Benoit was born July 25, 1828, Chambly, Province of Quebec, Canada to Joseph Laurent Benoit and Genevieve Sophia Frechette. She is survived by her husband, Damase Robert to whom she was married Feb. 13, 1849, Ste-Anthonase, Iberville, Quebec. By 1865 the family had moved to Massachusettes and further migrated to Artic, West Warwick, RI by 1869.
