Mrs. M.A. Bailey, mother of Charles and Bird Bailey of this county, died last Sunday at the home of her son, Will T. Bailey, at Pryor, Okla., and the body was brought here for interment, the funeral services being held Tuesday aftenoon. Deceased was born in Tennessee in 1840. She was a resident of this county 68 years, living for 30 years with her husband and family near Ritchey and later on a farm southeast of Neosho where her husband, S.D. Bailey, died eight years ago. She leaves four sons and one daughter, namely, Will T. Bailey of Pryor, Okla., Charles of Ritchey, Bird of near Pierce City, Ott of Sand Springs, Okla., and Mrs. W.G. Gibson of Neosho.
