Mrs. Dunagan Dies Thursday Night
After being seriously ill for the past eight days following a heart attack, Mrs. Ella V. Dunagan, age 86, died Thursday eveing at 10:55 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Frank Scott, at 660 South Jefferson Street.
Mrs. Dunagan had made her home with her daughter for the past several years, leaving her home on North Jefferson Street when her health begain to fail.
She was born in Martinsville, May 9, 1870, the daughter of Ebenezer and Mary Cobby Baldwin, and had spent her entire life here. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
January 25, 1889, she was married to George W. Dunagan who died January 9, 1944. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Scott and Mrs. John Ratcliff of R.R. 1; one son, Everett Dunagan of this city; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One daughter died in infancy.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Hathaway of Indinapolis and two brothers, M. D. Baldwin of R.R.2 and William D. Baldwin of Hall. Three brothers and one sister have preceded her in death.
Last rites will be conducted by Rev. Fred Sharp at the Cure and Hensley Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be at Shultz Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
