Larned- Hazel Couchman, 81, died Sunday at her home. She was born Aug 2, 1896, in Barton County and as a lifetime area resident.
She married John Couchman Dec 26, 1928, in Pawnee Rock.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. United Methodist Women, Ash Valley Grange and OES, all of Larned.
Survivors include the husband, one son, Lorraine of Garfield, one daughter, Mrs Raymond Fulton of Larned, one brother, Milton Deets of Great Bend, two sisters, Mrs Inez Darst of Dodge City and Mrs Velma Rains of Garfield, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Beckwith Mortuary in Larned with the Rev Dennis Kuder and the Rev Robert Fleenor officiating. Burial will be in the Garfield Cemetery in Garfield. The family suggests memorials to the organization of the donor's choice. Friends may call until service time at the mortuary.
