SCHENK, Irvin - Irvin Frederick Schenk passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the age of 96. Dear father of Larry Schenk of Baden. Irvin was predeceased by his dear wife Helen (nee Hallman) in 2003 and his brother Lincoln Schenk in 1986. Born November 2, 1913, Irvin was the son of the late Andrew Schenk (1938) and Franna (Hank) Schenk (1961). A life-long beef farmer in Wilmot Township, Irvin also ran a trucking business purchasing and marketing beef cattle for area farmers. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 2 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, Ontario. Visitation will take place before the service from 1 - 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim or the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation through the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 519-662-1661
