Asa Bullis passed into the beyond at an early hour on Monday morning. About the first of March last he had an attack of pneumonia which developed into consumption, since that time he has been confined to his bed and his demise was not unexpected. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Wm. H. Skemp officiating. The remains were laid at rest in Oak Knoll cemetery in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the family. Deceased was 66 years of age and was a native of Ohio. He has been a resident of Mille Lacs county for more than 27 years. He was a sober and industrious citizen, and a large circle of friends and acquaintances regret his departure from this world.
