Mrs. Jane Tyler died at midnight at the home of her son-in-law, Judge Andrew Barnett, on the corner of Highland avenue and New Broadway. Her death was caused directly from erysipelas; brought on by a relapse of the grippe. She was taken ill some time ago with a severe cold, which soon developed into the grippe. It was thought she had recovered from this when she was taken with a relapse which brought about her death. She was seventy-nine years of age. She was the wife of the late Presley Tyler, and a cousin of Mrs. Mary Tyler, who died of the grippe a few days ago.
