Dr. Jasper Manton, pastor of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiated for Mrs. Robert Zethraeus, 75, at funeral services Thursday at that church. Mrs. Zethraeus was Dr. Manton's nurse when he was a baby in Paris, Lamar County.
Mrs. Zethraeus' stepfather, the late Rev. Felix Johnson, preceded Dr. Manton's father, the late Rev. Charles Manton, as pastor of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Paris, Lamar County, which is now the Central Presbyterian Church.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Zethraeus were her five sons, E. C., R. C., T. C., C. C., and H. C. Zethraeus and a grandson, Roy C. Zethraeus, Jr. A daughter, Mrs. A. M. Pippin, who is superintendent of the primary department of the church where Dr. Manton is pastor, also survives.
Burial was in Oak Cliff Cemetery. Mrs. Zethraeus died Wednesday at her home 216 North Clinton.
