Funeral services for Mary W. Pryor, 76, of Laurel, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 from Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 from Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Waynesboro City Cemetery.

A member of AARP, she was also a member of Eastern Star and a Cub Scout leader during her active years. She died on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise P. O'Leary of St. Francisville, La.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jon W. and Lisa Pryor and Joseph "Joe" R. and Tammy Pryor, all of Laurel; two sisters,both of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, John W. Walker; her mother, Mary A. Landrum Walker; her husband, John Theron Pryor; a son, Larry W. Pryor; and a grandson, John Gabriel Pryor.
