John W.Walker,79,of Waynesboro died Fri.Feb.23,at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Walker of Waynesboro; two sons, John W.WalkerIII and Steve Walker both of Waynesboro;a daughter,Tracy Walker Cooley of Waynesboro;three sisters,Iretta Graham and Nell Taylor,both of Waynesboro,and Mary Pryor of Laurel;eight grandchildren,five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Walker was born on July 12,1927 and was a native of Piave. Walker was a mechanic and was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. Funeral services for Walker were held on Feb.26 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr.Steve Smith officiating. Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery.
Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
