Glen Warner was the son of Milton Silas (Boss) and Lillie Janett Wooten Warner; husband of Ima Jo Smith Warner; and father of Jo Ann, Mike and Douglas Warner.

BURNET BULLETIN - August 15, 2007
Major Glen B. Warner, 95, of Tyler, passed away on August 8 in Tyler. He was born in Lake Victor, in Burnet County, to the late Milton Silas and Lillie Wooten Warner.

He was a retired major with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He reached the rank of sergeant in 1945, captain in 1951, and became a major in 1970. As major, he was the Regional Commander of the Dallas and Tyler Districts. At the time he served as major, there were only six majors in the State of Texas. He retired in 1977 after forty years of service, moved back to Tyler and was a member of Shiloh Road Church of Christ where he served as an elder.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Jo Warner in January of 2007 and is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann; and sons, Mike and Douglas Warner; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Burial was on Saturday, August 11, at the Warner Family Cemetery at Lake Victor.
