Calista was the daughter of Benjamin Tarver and Loucinda ? and I suspect she was born in Muscogee Co.., GA. She was in Tallapoosa Co., AL with her parents in 1840 and 1850 before showing up in 1860 Pike Co., AL married to P. H. (Pulaski Hollinger 'Pugh') Brown. Their marriage is not listed in Tallapoosa county and I have no access to Pike county marriages so I can't say for sure where they were married. Could be another unrecorded marriage. Her parents were in Pike county in 1860 also.
