Donna Kay Frick September 1946 - September 2, 2010 A Chapel service will be Thursday, Sept. 9th, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Interment will follow. Donna Kay Frick passed away of natural causes at home Sept. 2, 2010. Kay was born in Comanche, Oklahoma. Kay grew up in Arvin, CA where she met her loving husband, Bill Frick. They married on August 1, 1964. Kay was a secretary for Fred Frick Feedlot for 14 years, Steve Owens Electric for 5 years. Kay was on the P.T.A. for Meridian School and a member of the Kern County Cowbelles known now as Kern County Cattle Womens Associates. She took her work very serious. She was preceded in death by husband, William Frederick Frick; her mother, Bessie Irene Wright; father, Joe Ramos and Hiawatha McCann. Kay is survived by daughter, Shelly Renee Frick and son- in-law Terry Ray Waters; grandsons, William Lee Ray Waters and Tommy Ray Waters; siblings, Barbara Forrest of Bakersfield, Larry Steven Michaels of Bakersfield, Lisa Clark of Hugo, OK, Loretta Owens of Bakersfield, Rhonda Draper of Broken Arrow, OK, Anthony Ramos of Bakersfield, Harold Ramos of Tulsa, OK; many nieces and nephews. www.bakersfield.com/obits
