Mrs Hannah Helvie died at 4 oclock yesterday afternoon at her residence near Anoka She had been ill for several weeks past and death resulted from paralysis and old age Mrs Helvie was one of the oldest residents of the county being 86 years at the time of death She was universally admired and respected and numbered her friends by all whom she met She waa a member of the Seven Mile church Her husband died a few years ago but several married children survive her among whom is ex-Auditor Sam Helvie of this city The funeral was held this after noon at 2 oclock at the Seven Mile church Interment was made at the Hahn cemetery at Anoka.

DEATH OF MRS. ANNA HELVIE
Mrs. Anna Helvie, mother of ex-Auditor Samuel S. Helvie, of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Harrison, near Seven Mile church, in Tipton township, last Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
The deceased was born January 8th, 1810, and was therefore past 86 years old.
She had been a resident of Tipton township since 1847, and was well known and greatly beloved for her many good deeds.
Her husband, the late Michael Helvie, died in 1878. She was the mother of eleven children --- eight sons and three daughters, and, except one son and one daughter, George and Rebecca, all survive. The sons are John, William, Isaac, Samuel and Abraham, who reside in this county, and James and Jacob, who live in Kansas. The surviving daughters are Mrs. John Harrison and Mrs. John Puterbaugh.
As a wife and mother, she was faithful to the household, and lived to see her children grow to manhood and womanhood, and to see them succeed in honorable pursuits.
She led a christian life and endured all the privations of a pioneer mother.
The funeral services were held at 4 o'clock this afternoon, and interment make in the Hahn cemetery near Anoka.
