Mrs. Lottie M. Woods, 79, who lived in Jasper county for most of her life, died Saturday at Skiff Memorial hospital following a heart attack.
Mrs. Woods lived in Newton the last eight years, but lived much of her life in the Galesburg vicinity. She was born Mar. 17, 1872, and came to this country at an early age.
She was the wife of Benjamin Woods who preceded her in death in May of last year. Survivors are one son, Roy of Newton, and one brother, Charles Holmes of Galesburg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Toland Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. John R. Binkley Jr. pastor of the First Christian church, and burial will be in Hewitt cemetery near Galesburg. She was a member of the Galesburg Christian church.
