3890 HARRIET JEWETT (Jonathan, Benjamin, Jonathan, Ezekiel, Thomas, Ezekiel, Maximilian, Edward), was born in Sangerville, N. Y., Feb. 5, 1814. She married Sept. 7, 1843, William Taylor, son of William and Ruth (Farmer) Taylor. They settled in Oriskany Falls, N. Y., and late in life removed to Forest City, Iowa, where she died July 2, 1893. Mr. Taylor died there May 6, 1900.

Children, born at Oriskany Falls, N. Y.:

6449 Mary Louisa, born May 19, 1845; married June 26, 1865, Thomas Hunt, and resides in White City, Kan.

6450 Jonathan Jewett, born Sept. 5, 1856; married Sarah Elizabeth Jewett.* (Correction he was born in 1846)

6451 Unity Leora, born Aug. 28, 1848; married (1st) Isaac Monroe Peters; (2d) James McClinchey.*

6452 Lyman Washington, born July 7, 1850.

6458 Harvey Button, born Aug. 25, 1862; married at Clear Lake, Iowa, Oct. 28, 1875, Martha Eiel. Resides in Thompson, Iowa. (Correction he was born in 1852)

Died - At the home of her son, July 2, 1893, Mrs. Harriet Jewett Taylor, aged 79 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Sangerfield, Onieda County, New York, February 5, 1814. was married to W. W. Taylor
September 7, 1843, and came to Iowa twenty-three years ago, where she has since resided.

Mrs. Taylor was the mother of five children, all of whom survived her and had she lived until September 7th, her
married life with Mr. Taylor would have covered a period of fifty years. When the Congregational church was
organized in Forest City, she with her husband were among the original members.

Her life has been that of a consistant Christian, and she always manifested a deep interest in the properity and
welfare of the church. Of her it can be said "she hath done what she could".

Funeral service were conducted from the Congregational church by the pastor, Rev. J. D. Mason, on Monday July
3, and the interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
