Services for Lillian Ott, age 85 years, 1 month and 14 days, were held Monday, November 7, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa, with the Rev. Stephen Kamprath officiating. The casket bearers were Craig Bottjen, Clinton Korte, Harlan Tesch, Bryan Korte, Richard Ott and JeffThode. Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 7, 1994, at the City Cemetery in Remsen [Remsen Community Cemetery], Iowa, under the direction of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.
OBITUARY
Lillian was born September 20, 1909, the daughter of Benjamin and Anna (Ebert) Holtgrewe. She received her education in O'Brien County rural schools. She was baptized and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina.
On November 30, 1933, she was united in marriage to Albert Ott at the home of his parents in Remsen. The couple farmed in'the Paullina area. Albert preceded her in death on December 28,1952, at Paullina.
Lillian had been a resident of the Sutherland and Paullina nursing homes the past few years. She passed away at the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina on Friday, November 4, 1994, at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 14 days.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory a son and his wife, Orlan and Nancy Ott of Cedar Falls; a granddaughter and her husband, Carmela and Jeff Thode of Janesville; a great-granddaughter, Britney Thode; two step-grandsons, Bryan and Clinton Korte and their wives of Waterloo; a step-great-granddaughter, Holly;
Also eight sisters: Esther Ott, Elsie Holtgrewe and Bernice Bottjen, all of Remsen; Ida Grimberg of Paullina; Nora and her husband, Harry Tesch of Primghar; Gladys and her husband, Carl Bottjen of Hawarden; Irma and her husband, John Lower of Omaha, NE, and Shirley LeMoine of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers and their wives: Burdette and Grace Holtgrewe of LeMars and Benjamin and Delores Holtgrewe of Sioux City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant twin son at birth, two sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Lillian Ott, 85, of Paullina, died Friday, Nov. 4, '1994 at the Wide View Rest Home in Paullina.
