Mary Evelyn Hall, 61, died September 5, 2010 at her home in Muskogee. She was born October 28, 1948 in Muskogee to Wilburn Howard Smoot and Leota Ruth (Croman) Smoot. Mary had a positive attitude and was always laughing. She put the needs of others before those of her own. She enjoyed old movies, needlepoint and other crafts. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Dale Smoot. She is survived by her husband, Tom Hall of the home; daughter, Shelley Hall, grandson, Spencer Kans and granddaughter, Adrianna Kans, all of Choctaw, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Delbert and Glenda Smoot of Muskogee and David and Jan Smoot of Springfield, MO; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lolita and Don Myers and Sue and Irv Falwell, all of Muskogee and numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Boulevard Christian Church with Mr. Steve Moss officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Hall, Gary Hall, Greg Guthrie, Danny Smoot, Branson Howell and Chris Corntassel. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
