In doing much research on Dudley I have not been able to prove any actual birth date for Dudley. I've noted 1774 because of a document showing that as his possible birth date. There are some people that feel he had to be born 1764 because his assumed father Johnathan Langford died between 1762 & 1763 (Estate was processed March 1763). I have not been able to find any document proving Dudley is the "real" son of Jonahan. Any documents stating otherwise would be greatly appreciated since this is my line of heritage.
