A whole community sincerely mourns with Mr. and Mrs. Carl O. Augdahl in the loss of their oldest son, Fred, aged 6 years, who died on Tuesday last after having undergone an operation for appendicitis. The operation was performed on Sunday last by Drs. Meckstroth, Mathison and Lyng and appeared to be successful, the lad rallying very nicely but a relapse set in Monday night and though of sturdy build and constitution, he succumbed to the disease. The parents have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
