He was united in marriage to Lillian Fair Jan. 14, 1914. To this union was born a son, Bernard.
Mr. Buxton was employed by the Burlington railroad for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Alfred and Clifford, and one sister, Aldia Case.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian, a son, Bernard (wife Pat) and two grandsons: Mike and Bob all of Des Moines; two sisters: Mrs. Donald Hill of Corning, Mrs. Thelma White of Tyler, Texas and one brother, Clifford Buxton of Creston.
Funeral services were held at the Coen Home for Funerals Nov. 17th at 1 p.m. Interment was in Stringtown Cemetery.
