Ida Mae Jones was born in Sawmill Run, Cattaraugus County, New York, the daugher of Alvin L Jones 1826 and Robey Jane Barnes.

She married Stanley S Gowan Skinner, the son of Leroy Gowan and Ellen Johnston. The couple lived in Mansfield, Coldspring, and Randolph in Cattaraugus County.

Children: Merton D 197, Henry Leroy 1898, Chloe Helena 1900, Claude B 1904, Bernice Adelle 1909.

Mrs. Ida Skinner Dies; Had Been Ill Two Years

Mrs. Ida M. Skinner, 74, of 65 Main St., wife of Claude Skinner, died at her home Thursday at 6:30 AM. She had been ill about two years. A.

The daughter of Alvin and Roby Lawrence Jones, she was born March 15, 1879. She and Mr. Skinner were married August 20, 1895, and they have lived in Randolph 38 years. Mr. Skinner was a member of the Randolph Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Merton Skinner of Randolph, Henry Skinner of Sinclairville and Claude Skinner of Conewango; two daughters, Mrs. Chloe Harvey of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Bernice Wable of Greenhurst; a brother, Arch Jones of Randolph; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hollister and Mrs. Amy Flagg of Randolph; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Hoitink Funeral Home Sunday at 2:30 PM, with Elder Gerald Greene officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery.
