Alvin Jones, parents unknown, married Roby or Robey Barnes, daughter of Bartholomew Barnes and Sarah Polly Pierce in 1852, in Alden, Erie, New York.

By 1870 the couple moved to Little Valley, Cattaraugus; by 1880 they were in Coldspring, Cattaraugus. Alvin died in Napoli, Cattaraugus in 1906, his wife continued to live in Napoli with her son Archie.

Children:

Adelia Jane 1856, married Charles Henry Earl in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, then moved to moved to Corydon, Pennsylvania, then to Coldspring, Cattaraugus. Adelia died in 1897 in Coldspring. She is buried in the Bunker Hill Cemetery. After her death her husband continued to live in South Valley, Cattaraugus. Five children.

Edwin Jones 1860, married Amanda Fox in Cold Spring, lived in Cold Spring until 1900, then moved to Somerset, Niagra, New York. Lived with his brother Charles for a while. Six children.

Emma Jones 1863 - 1874.

George F 1866, married Bertha M Klock, lived in Napoli. Four children.

Archibald Archie 1868, married Rose B Smith, lived in Napoli and later Randolph, Cattaraugus. Buried in the Randolph Rural Cemetery. Six children.

Charles W 1872, married Maude, lived in Cold Spring, moved to Somerset, Niagra County by 1910. Four children.

Ellen M 1875 , married Harrison Bishop (two children), and James F Hollister (two children), lived in Mansfield, and Conewango, Cattaraugus County, and in Cherry Creek, Ellington, and Gerry, Chautauqua County.

Amy A 1876, married James Edwin Flagg, lived in New Albion and Randolph, Cattaraugus. Seven children. Buried in the Randolph Rural Cemetery.

Emma A 1876 (born after death of sister Emma 1863), married Elmer Horton, lived in Mansfield, and Randolph. Five children.

Ida Mae 1878, married Stanley Skinner, lived in Mansfield, Coldspring, and Randolph. Buried in the Randolph Rural Cemetery. Five children.
