Known as "Beezie" or "Beezer" to his friends. His father was Hugh Jefferson "Jetty" Fordyce. His mother was named Luella (Peterson). Beezie graduated from Watertown High School S.D., and was their 1945 Ki-Yi Chieftan. He served in the U.S. Army (circa 1946-48) and achieved rank of Sergeant. Beezie left South Dakota and went to Los Angeles California circa 1950 to make a life with his girlfriend "Bettyjo". Beezie and Bettyjo (Elizabeth Joanne Sexton) were married November 16,1952 in Ventura California. They went on to raise a family, and he was a loving Father to Cynthia Kay, Diane Lynne, Michael David, Patrick Joseph, and Brian William Fordyce. Over the years he worked in Aerospace Industry for Schwien, Lockheed, and most notably North America Aviation's Rocketdyne Division where he worked on the Apollo Program's Main Engines through the 1960's. From 1970-1990 BZ ran a fabrication business in Van Nuys California named Primeline, where he manufactured aircraft parts . Retired and returned home to Watertown South Dakota circa 1990. He is buried in Mount Hope Cemetary, Watertown South Dakota. Beezie's restored 1913 Chalmers that was in Watertown area for 75 years, can be seen in the Nethercutt Car Collection in Sylmar California.
