Edith V. (Bauer) Lemmons Reno, age 80, Joplin, passed away at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2000 at St. John's Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Mrs. Reno was born July 4, 1920 in Jasper County, Missouri and was a lifetime resident. She worked for the former Newman's Department Store for over 30 years, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church

Her first husband, Walter Lemmons, preceded her in death on August 19, 1964.

Her second husband, George S. Rento, preceded her in death on April 28, 1986.

Survivors include a son;
Jack Lemmons of Colorado Springs, CO.

three daughters;
Joyce Mullikin
Carol Greenlee and
Linda Meyer, all of Joplin

one brother;
Rex Bauer of Oronogo

one sister;
Lois K. Thrasher of Independence, MO

eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents;
Charles and Lena (Baker) Bauer
three brothers;
Maurice Bauer
J.C. Bauer and
Ray Bauer

Services were held at Parker Mortuary Chapel
Rev. John Newberry officiated.
