COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Mrs. Addie L. Beckey, 92, a former Columbus City resident, died Monday at the Heritage Manor in Newton.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
The daughter of Monroe and Mary Ellen Brogen Adams, she was born Feb. 19, 1888 in Louisa County. A former resident of Columbus City, she had resided in Newton for the past five years.
Her marriage to Adam Beckey took place Feb. 14, 1908 in Wapello. He died in 1946.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Erma) Davis of Newton and Mrs. George (Freda) McCandless of Hamilton, Ohio; three granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Herb (Leona) Crull of Columbus City.
She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
