Alvis Pearl Bishop was the daughter of Robert and Emily Bertha Hunt Bishop. She married Archie Aikman Gilbert on October 20, 1913. They were the parents of Archie Lenay, Robert Estes, Orris Cleon and Ethel Verna Gilbert.

PRICE-Alvis Pearl Bishop Gilbert, 73, Price, died Nov. 29 in a Price hospital after a long illness.

Born May 31, 1894, Scofield, Carbon County, to Robert and Bertha Hunt Bishop. Married Archie Gilbert Oct. 20, 1913, Sunnyside, Carbon County. He died Dec. 25, 1943. Member LDS Church.

Survivors: sons, daughter, Archie L, Orris Bud, both Price; Mrs. Richard (Ethel) Williams, Kearns; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lester (Millie) Christensen, Castle Dale, Emery County.

Funeral Saturday, 2 p.m., Price Fourth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Mitchell Funeral Home Friday, Saturday prior to services. Burial Price City Cemetery.
