Huerfano World - January 26, 1995 - Stella Mary Baker, 82, of Walsenburg, died Jan. 17, 1995, in St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. Born Mar. 4, 1912, in Westcliffe, she and her husband ranched in the Gardner and Redwing area for many years. Mrs. Baker moved to Walsenburg following her husband's death in 1980. She was a member of St. Mary Church, the Tabernacle Society, Huerfano Hospital Auxiliary, Prairie Rangers, River Round Up and Cowbelles. Funeral mass was Saturday from St. Mary Church in Walsenburg. Burial was in Rosita Cemetery in Westcliffe.
